Appointment and new strategic public relations and social media partnerships to support international real estate company's increasing expansion
NEW YORK, New York – Engel & Völkers North America, the North America operations for the European-based, premium real estate firm, announced the addition of Katelyn Castellano as vice president of communications to its head office operations on Park Avenue, New York City. Castellano will be responsible for developing and leading communications strategies across multiple platforms to solidify positioning of Engel & Völkers and increase awareness among national, regional, consumer and trade audiences.
“As Engel & Völkers continues to foster its rapidly expanding North American presence, Katelyn’s strong public relations experience and industry involvement will be essential in our ability to drive awareness for the brand throughout new markets,” said Anthony Hitt, CEO, Engel & Völkers North America. “We are proud to have Katelyn on board as we accelerate growth in the years ahead.”
Castellano joins Engel & Völkers from Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate where she was the director of communications and events. During her five years with the Realogy- owned brand, Castellano implemented multi-faceted communications campaigns, incorporating public relations, social media, events and internal communications activities to develop and grow the company’s thought leadership platform and drive overall awareness.
“I’m excited to be part of Engel & Völkers’ evolving story and unique value proposition as the brand looks to build on its European success across North America,” said Castellano. “Its expansive global network provides so many opportunities for every individual associated with Engel & Völkers, and I look forward to contributing to the future of this network.”
Engel & Völkers’ New Media Partners
Engel & Völkers has also announced strategic partnerships with Manhattan-based media companies, Lumentus Social and Mission Control Marketing.
Lumentus Social will support Engel & Völkers in the ideation and execution of the brand’s social media strategy. Lumentus Social was selected due to the company’s customized, targeted approach to messaging, real estate and luxury expertise and ability to provide additional business value to the Engel & Völkers’ network of license partners and advisors.
Engel & Völkers has also appointed Mission Control Marketing as its public relations agency partner. Mission Control Marketing was selected as a result of the agency’s modern, strategic and targeted approach to media relations and comprehensive public relations campaigns, as well as prior experience in the real estate market. The agency will contribute to the development and execution of targeted public relations strategies through media relations, content marketing and messaging to deliver results that support Engel & Völkers’ overarching business goals.
